Warranty Information

Most batteries and many accessories come with a manufacturer's warranty. Warranties vary by product type and manufacturer — refer to the product page for specific coverage details.

Important: Proof of Purchase Required

No free replacement battery will be provided unless original proof of purchase is presented at the time of the warranty claim.

Not Covered by Limited Warranty

The following are explicitly excluded from warranty coverage:

Discharged batteries or batteries outside of warranty date code limits.
Neglect, such as improper fluid levels (under/over watering), damage from shipping, loose wiring, or busted or corroded hardware.
Misapplied or improperly sized battery for the application.
Batteries exposed to excessive heat or cold temperatures.
Batteries that have had the date codes destroyed or tampered with.
Breakage, freezing, explosion, fire, wreckage, overcharging, charging or installing in reverse polarity, improper maintenance, melted or broken terminals, improper storage, or addition of any chemical or solution other than approved water.
Failure to properly install the battery.

Warranty Claim Procedures

If your battery appears defective, please follow these steps:

1

Test First

Bring your battery in for testing — it may simply be discharged rather than defective. Have the battery tested to determine the cause of failure and retain the receipt of the test results. This warranty does not cover merely discharged batteries.

2

Verify Warranty Period

If the battery is still not working correctly after a full charge and re-test, determine whether it is still within the total Limited Warranty Period. The warranty period is calculated from the date of sale to the original purchaser.

3

Return the Battery

Return the battery to us at 2725 Portland Rd NE, Salem, OR within the Limited Warranty Period along with your original proof of purchase. No free replacement will be provided without original proof of purchase.

Conditions Where the Warranty is Void

The warranty is void under the following conditions:

Damaged case and/or cover (broken or cracked) poorly secured.
Swollen case or burned labels caused by overcharging.
Malfunction of the vehicle's electrical system.
Battery mounted in a vehicle that does not match the application in the authorized application guide.
Damaged posts (bent, filed, rebuilt, or chipped).
Lateral terminals tightened with excess torque.
Presence of unusual liquid in the battery.

Warranty Exclusion for Sale Items

Items purchased as part of a sale, clearance, or promotional event are sold "as is" and are not covered by any warranty, whether expressed or implied. By purchasing a sale item you acknowledge and agree that no manufacturer or seller warranty applies to the product, and that we are not responsible for defects, performance issues, or durability concerns after purchase.
